City Gas Skids
City Gas is a mechanism of pressure dynamics. To control and deliver adequate pressure as required is possible through a perfect designed Pressure Regulating/reducing Skid. PRS is a combination of regulator, pilot, Pressure Control Valve, Pressure Safety Valve, Slam Shut Valve, Safety Relief Valve, Creep Relief Valve, isolation valves, PT & TT.
PRS
To reduce high pressure to low pressure, combination of filter, regulator, pilot, SSV, CRV and isolation system is called as PRS.
MRS
A PRS with Meter for gas metering facility is called as MRS. Normally, MRS skids are installed at customer’s premises as custody transfer facility.
DCS
Pressure Reduction facility from very high pressure at 200 Bars to low pressure, compatible with Gas heater is to avoid freezing.
Major parts of Pressure Regulating Skids
Gas Filter
A Gas filter removes dirt particles from Gas to enter into pressure regulator’s diaphragm to avoid malfunctioning.
Pressure Regulator
A pressure regulator is a device that controls & regulate the inlet pressure of gas to a desired outlet pressure.
Safety Valve
A Safety Valve is a device that controls the outlet pressure with in its desirable variation and shut the Gas supply beyond limits.
